At first glance this looks to be an exceptionally clean 66 Chevelle with a set of GM rally wheels. Show quality paint and brilliant straight chrome, basic clean new black bucket interior, an overall sharp car. Upon closer inspection you start to see the things that set it apart from the run-of-the-mill Chevelle. Pop the hood and there is a fresh pump gas 454 pushing over 500 horsepower, and everything under the hood is new. One look under the car and you see all the boxed trailing arms holding the 12 bolt in place, and the massive 3 exhaust system that looks like it grew out of the floorboards. When it starts, there is no mistaking that this is not Aunt Mables old Chevy. The car drives remarkable at low speeds and is very manuverable in town. With the 5 speed 70 MPH is 1900RPM and the engine is just starting into its power curve.
The owner of this car had us build it in latter part of 2007, and it has logged less than 2500 miles since the build. It has been kept in controlled storage and not driven in adverse weather. Due to a recent move and a shift in family priorities, he has decided to sell it rather than let it set. There is over $40K invested in this car, and it would cost beyond that to build again, if you could find a clean enough car to start with. This car will not be sold to any first timers or the un-initiated, due to its performance level. It has the horsepower to propel itself beyond the limits of aerodynamics, and its just not something you turn a beginner loose with. Your experience level with performance vehicles will be a determining factor to qualifying you as a buyer, reguardless of your economic status. This car accelerates so hard it will make your face melt.
