This vehicle is displayed in our San Carlos California Showroom (650) 326-1000., Great looking 1965 Ford Mustang convertible with a claimed 63k original miles on the odometer and judging by the car's condition we believe it. Powered by a 289 C.I. V8 "A" Code engine with an automatic transmission this is a combination not often seen. Having been owned by the current owner since 1986 this Mustang still retains the original black interior and rally wheels, both of which are in very good condition. The Aqua Tropical Turquoise paint was re-sprayed in the original color in 1984 with a lacquer based paint so the car still retains a very nice luster even today. This Mustang just received a major tune-up in June of 2009 that consisted of the following items: rebuilt carburetor, completely overhauled brake system, new gas tank, and a new exhaust system. Equipped with power steering and a power soft top there is not much more you could ask for in a classic convertible pony car.
