I''ve owned several half ton pickups but the newer F150s are far and away the best all around. Sure the Dodge has more power the Chevy has better lines and Toyota is roomier inside but at the end of the day the F150 is the quietest torquiest toughest and best laid out of all half ton pickups. You may not win any drag races in the F150 but if you put 7000 pounds behind it you can safely and confidently pull that whereas some of the other half tons get sketchy and scary at that weight. I have towed 7000 pound trailers behind my truck numerous times and with the use of a trailer brake controller can hardly tell it is there when it comes time to stop.
