Only 1,000 Grand Sports were produced in the final year of the C4 (1984 through 1996) production and this is one of only 12 coupes made for the Canadian market. It has only 30,793 actual miles since new and has had just two owners. The history of this Corvette, including a Car Fax, is included with the extensive paperwork that comes with the car. Documentation includes the factory build sheet and the original window sticker. Powered by the new for 1996 LT4 high performance engine that had many engineering advances giving it 330 h.p. which is 30 h.p. more than the base 1996 Corvette engine. The transmission is a six speed manual which was the only transmission available with the LT4 engine. Further equipment include power rack and pinion steering, power four wheel anti lock disc brakes, traction control, power mirrors both sides, tilt steering column, cruise control, power door locks with outside remote control, electronically controlled climate system, rear window defogger, AM/FM Delco Bose stereo radio with both CD and cassette, power windows with drivers side power down, power six way drivers seat, select ride and handling control, low tire pressure warning, the Grand Sport option with special hood and trunk striping, red front fender "hash" marks and special Grand Sport badging. The 17" wheels are finished in all black unique to the Grand Sport with four excellent Goodyear GS-C tires in the correct size for the Grand Sport coupe. The overall condition of this very collectible Grand Sport Corvette is excellent, especially knowing it is a 15 year old automobile. The interior is near showroom new and this includes the factory original floor mats.
