The 1997 I30 sedan is offered in both Base and touring models. New for 1997, both feature an improved 6-speaker, 200 watt Bose audio system with in-dash CD and cassette. Four new exterior colors are also available. Integrated with the interior and available with the Leather Package on the I30(standard on the I30t), is Infiniti+s Integrated Homelink Transmitter. This device can be programmed to operate such devices as a garage door, security gate and virtually anything operable with radio frequencies within the 286 to 399 megahertz band. In order to remain competitive, there has been no price increase for the 1997 I30 and I30t at model year introduction.
