This is a very clean 2006 Dodge Stratus SXT with 51,000 miles. The car has averaged right around 10,000 miles per year, that's really good considering most average drivers put 15,000-18,000 miles per year on a vehicle.
A customer traded this Stratus in a couple weeks ago. I had a very low mileage truck that he wanted so he drove all the way from MO ( 580 miles one way ) to trade the Stratus for the truck.
He took great care of it and it definitely shows. It was more then likely garage kept because the paint looks excellent with a nice deep gloss. It has no rust on the lower doors, rocker panels or underneath. The interior is very clean with no abnormal odors, stains or rips. Carpet & floor mats are clean and so are the seats.
Mechanically the car is in great shape. It starts right up and idles very smooth when in park. Accelerates without any hesitation and the engine does not make any abnormal noises during acceleration or at idle.
The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues and the steering feels great with no abnormal play at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ). This is a well cared for vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip.
If you do a internet search on these cars, you will see that these 2.4L 4-cyl engines are good for a long time. This one has has right around 51,000 miles so it still has alot of life left.
Within the last 10 miles i had the car fully inspected and serviced. The mechanic replace the engine oil & filter and told me it was very clean with no fluid leaks underneath, all other maintenance was up to date. It also comes with a nationwide warranty at no cost.
The AC and heat works great, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power mirrors works, power door locks work and so does the CD player and radio. All electrical options work just like they should.
If you have been looking for a clean daily driver / family vehicle thats great on gas ( 30 mpg ), this would be a great choice for you.
