This is a one of a kind street rod that has been hand crafted from a 1933 Ford two door sedan resulting in a simply fabulous automobile. It started life as a two door Ford sedan and has been turned into a unique style commonly known as a high boy tub. The body remains all steel and the quality of the conversion is exceptional. The body is super straight and free from any cracks or any imperfections. The frame originated from the 1933 Ford but has been completely boxed in smoothed and finished in the same high quality as the body. The front suspension utilizes a transverse leaf spring, a drilled dropped straight axle with chromed tube shocks and chromed stabilizer bars giving this street rod the appropriate classic look. Rear suspension is a four link coil over system utilizing a Ford nine inch rear end. The highly chromed engine is a 454 Chevrolet V8 coupled to a 700R4 GM transmission. Coated exhaust headers flow through a custom dual exhaust system. This street rod retains drum brakes with polished Buick finned aluminum drums on the front and Ford drums on the rear. The finish is a high gloss Black with Bronze highlights. The quality of the bodywork is phenomenal, truly a high degree of professionalism that is consistent throughout the entire automobile. The door hinges are hidden giving the body a smooth clean custom look. The interior is custom and beautifully done at a cost of over $5,300. The seats are Black with faux ostrich inserts, the door and trim panels are all Black. There is a full tonneau cover provided and has a zippered removable section enabling the driver to operate the car with the cover on. The tilt steering wheel is custom and is mounted on a full stainless steel steering column. Instrumentation is complete and includes a steering column mounted tachometer contained in a matching stainless steel housing. The windshield posts are hand fabricated and extend through the cowling and are welded to the frame resulting in an extremely strong structure. This amazing street rod has only been driven 2,325 miles since completion. Currently it is completely detailed and ready for winter car shows or your own pleasure.
