Set up to be agreeable to today's unleaded fuel, this AMX's original engine is upgraded with unleaded fuel compatible and much better flowing dogleg heads and AMC free flow exhaust manifolds along with the hard to find AMC logoed and dealer provided R4B aluminum intake along with an Edlebrock 650 CFM AVS carburetor. To round out its modern day driving characteristics, it is also equipped with Mallory Unilite electronic distributor to make it true to its heritage while making it extraordinarily powerful and pleasurable yet very reliable car. Its full 2 1/2 inch exhaust rumbles with absolute authority from the moment the key is turned and for as long or as short as you want to drive this car. As one AMC enthusiast stated, it doesn't just start, it roars to life!

No expense was spared in this car's recreation where every aspect of the car was restored, replaced or refinished right down to its extraordinary paint job resulting in this AMX taking best in show or class winner in every event it has been entered in.
