Stk. 1497 1960 DeSota Adventurer
A wonderful addition for the nostalgia-oriented collector, this 1960 4-door DeSoto reflects a ''trip back in time'' where fins, round bullet taillights, tons of chrome and wide white sidewalls were the order of the day and gotta mention this joker has swivel seats-both sides. Painted in ''Soft Rose'', the exterior features enhancements such as a completely new front end, new gas tank, wire wheels with new tires, re-chromed bumper ends, along with an installed windshield washer. The ''60 Adventurer line was the first to utilize ''unibody'' construction and was one of the last models produced before the DeSoto brand was discontinued in 1961. The original 383 ci V-8 was rebuilt at the 59,000 mark and bored .30 over with a mild cam and a 750 carb - All this connected to an original and vintage Push Button 3-Speed automatic transmission. A new master cylinder and seat belts were installed in 2010, along with electric ignition and an electric fuel pump. The attractive interior features Rose & Gray cloth bench seats, power steering, AM/FM stereo, cassette player and working air conditioning. Comes with build sheet, factory paint sheet, owners manual, factory service manual, showroom brochure and other info pertaining to car. Without question, this is a collectible for the ages - a collectible that will only increase in value over time.
