We are pleased to offer in our Pleasanton showroom this very sharp and well cared for 1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet, outfitted in Quartz Gray Metallic over a tan leather and vinyl interior.  Originally a leased vehicle, this car has four total owners---but the last three have been from the same family, with our current owner having had the car since 2002.  Equipped with its original sport steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows and door locks, automatic speed control as well as an upgraded and updated Blaupunkt CD audio system; also comes with convertible boot tonneau cover, car cover, original warranty books and owner's manual and service records dating back to 2001., The 1983 911 Cabriolet marked the first 911 to be produced with a convertible top, and marked a return for the German automaker to rolling out a car with a soft top since the long-retired 356C nearly a decade earlier.  One of the best things about this new Cabrio, besides the performance derived from a very strong 3-liter flat-6 air cooled engine and 5-speed manual transmission, was that this car could be driven with the top down and windows up without the nasty wind buffeting that plagued so many convertibles...even at speeds that law enforcement might cite you for.  And with an estimated top speed of 146 mph, you might be able to outrun a few of them....though let's be clear, we are not advocating that in the least!
