One of the best things about the sixties was the offerings from Detroit. The love affair with the automobile was at a fever pitch and GM was cranking out some awesome cars. They really tuned the designers loose back then and every year brought styling and engineering changes. Of course by the mid sixties BIG was the order of the day. Big as in engines. This fine drop top Super Sport was ordered with the legendary Turbo Jet 396 V-8, 4 barrel carburetor, dual exhaust, and a 4-speed transmission. The long flowing lines are so beautiful but if you pull up next to it at a light better check the fender badges. You do not want to mess with a big block Impala. Better pick on the 327 equipped ones. This car is in spectacular condition. Everything was either rebuilt or replaced. It has awesome show quality paint, trim, glass, top, and interior. The body is laser straight. It has dual mirrors and a rear deck mounted antenna. The chassis is highly detailed with red oxide primer under body, painted frame, new gas tank, and aluminum exhaust. The immaculate bucket seat interior has some great features. It is all new with an in-dash tachometer, SS full length console, chrome 4-speed shifter, factory AM/FM radio, and padded dash. It is as comfortable to sit in as it is easy on the eyes. The motor and trunk compartment are show quality and look stock. The radial tires are accented with white walls and Super Sport spinner hub caps. This is as nice an Impala as there is for sale anywhere in the country. If you like big, powerful, boulevard cruisers, congratulations, you just found your dream car!
