The VRXSE Screamin Eagle Destroyer is Harley Davidsons first out-of-the-box drag racing motorcycle. Based on the VRSC family and tuned by Custom Vehicle Operations these bikes will do a quarter mile run in under10 seconds. These manufacturer purpose built drag bikes are designed to compete in NHRA sanctioned events. The bike owner is only allowed to make minor modifications and comes ready to race and even includes the wheelie bars. Only a few hundred of these limited quantity VRXSE Screamin Eagle Destroyer models were produced. What makes this bike so special is that it was the actual bike raced in the 2006-2007 race seasons by two-time world land speed record holder Valerie Thompson. Sponsored by Hacienda Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale Arizona this is the motorcycle that launched Valeries career catapulting her to worldwide recognition under the watchful eye and guidance of Haciendas owner Rich Hatch. Valerie took this Destroyer and finished in 2nd place in the Western Division for 2007 and 3rd place overall while also earning Best Appearing Team award for 2007. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the second owner of the bike that started Valerie Thompson to her present standing. Included with this bike is the original MSO original invoice original sales and warranty registration original pre-delivery checklist signed poster and many unique Valerie Thompson collectables. Also included are three videos of Valerie signing the bike as well as explaining the details about it. The bike is in great condition with no damage showing. Valerie has signed the tank and the bike still has many of her personal touches. For example Sit Straight and Feet are written on the top of the forks along with a sign to remind her to turn on the data for every run. Another nice touch is the air bottle for the air shifter is painted in the sponsors Monster Energy Drink colors. Another unique touch to the bike is the rear brake light that when lit displays the letter V. The seat does have a slip on pad that accommodated here smaller frame that can be removed for larger riders. All data plugs are located under the seat along with the fuel tank. The bike does run on high octane racing fuel currently. Valerie informed us that the motor of the bike was recently rebuilt by Hacienda Harley Davidson.
