Features:
In its first significant refresh since its 2001 debut the Ford Escape compact SUV receives some styling changes inside and out plus a quieter cabin for 2010. The Escape looks more like a Ford Explorer now but with a plunging chrome grille in some trim levels that would be equally at home on a Volkswagen Jetta or Golf. A raised hood and higher beltline may make the SUV look tougher! In addition to the Safety Canopy side-impact and curtain airbags the Escape now features an electronic stability system with Roll Stability Control. The latter — which comes only on SUVs from Ford-owned brands including its originator Volvo — is the only system with a sensor that actually detects the beginning of a rollover and can act to stop it. 2.5 liter inline 4 cylinder DOHC engine, 4 Doors, 4-wheel ABS brakes, 4WD Type - Automatic full-time, 6-way power adjustable drivers seat, Air conditioning, Audio controls on steering wheel, Automatic Transmission, Center Console - Full with covered storage, Clock - In-dash, Compass, Cruise control, Dusk sensing headlights, External temperature display, Four-wheel drive, Front fog/driving lights, Front seat type - Bucket, Fuel economy EPA highway (mpg): 26 and EPA city (mpg): 20, Head airbags - Curtain 1st and 2nd row, Intermittent window wipers, Multi-function remote - Windows, Overhead console - Mini with storage, Passenger Airbag, Power door locks, Power mirrors, Power windows with 1 one-touch, Privacy/tinted glass, Rear defogger, Rear wiper, Remote window operation - Rear window only, Speed-proportional power steering, Split-bench rear seats, Stability control - With anti-roll control, Tachometer, Tilt steering wheel, Traction control - ABS and driveline, Trip computer
