Vehicle information
Features:
Yes this is a REAL 1968 Plymouth GTX. The VIN checks out and it is an S code car, meaning GTX. This car was customized in the early 90's by another owner so going back to stock was more difficult than doing a modern custom job. So spare me the emails about the dash being cut for the stereo and so on. It was done before I got it, I just made it cool. I know it's not PERFECT. I know the taillights are form a Roadrunner but I like them. This car is built for driving.
list some of the stuff done:
*New paint and body, real nice
*New leather interior and new door panels
*Custom center console
*Hurst shifter
*Custom leather wrapped steering wheel
*New Alpine stereo and ipod
*Foose Legend wheels and Nitto tire, 20x10 rear and 18x8 front
*Rear suspension lowered
*Custom CNC machined 440 hood inserts
*Sorted 440ci big block with a bunch of goodies. Built to drive.
*Six planetary transmission. Street/strip
*New exhaust
*1968 YOM black California license plates
*All the regular stuff like brakes, plugs, wires, Blah, Blah, Blah
Im sure there is plenty more I'm not thinking of.
This is MY personal car. It is what it is. Fender trim tag was long gone when I got it. If you're looking for a documented Mopar for your museum, keep looking as there are some out there. If you want something to drive and and make every person at the car show drool, this is it.
