Features:
This vehicle is displayed in our San Carlos California Showroom (650) 326-1000., Specialty Sales is pleased to offer this wickedly fast 1977 Porsche 930 that has been constructed into the famous 935 Competition Cars. This car has finished on the podium of virtually every vintage-historical enduro it was ran in from 1990-2000. This car has beaten the Coca-Cola Paradyne 935, JLP 935, Whittington brothers 935, Greenwood Corvettes, Camel Light cars, and a few GTPs as well. The car currently sits in group 5 trim and the engine is fresh with virtually all new components (everything but the case), as well as a fresh gearbox due to time and use. The car has been stored over the past 10 years by the current owner who had plans of sponsorship but the engine still has yet to see race use. A total of about 130 miles has been put on the car since the current owner took possesion and he has also sunk $30,000 into new components that have not seen a track. This Porsche is extremely reliable and has only failed to complete a handful of enduro races (DNFs). With over $300,000 invested in this track beast there is little argument that this might be the best price of admission into a full blown race car experience., Engine: 3.3 Liter Turbocharged (approx 600 ft-lbs torque), Virtually all new components due to hours of use, Large Garret Turbo, Carillo Piston Rods, Twin plugged, nirosist ring flow heads, Updated to EPIC ECU controlling spark and fuel, Largest motorsport Design Air to Air Intercooler with aircraft fittings, Motorsport Design racing headers, Seat: Recaro SP, Steering: Momo Quick Release, Chassis: Factory tub reinforced with tube frame and suspension integrated cage, Transmission: Short bell housing 4 speed, Billet aluminum shifter, Quaife Differential, Easier to drive than locked spool, special gear ratios 1st, 3rd, 4th, Fuel System: Fuel Safe 32 gallon endurance cell with IMSA dry break, Windows: Side and rear flush mounted lexan.
